The walk this month follows the Longreach trail along the Mordialloc creek. An easy, flat 4 kms.
As usual I can give a few people a lift.
Lunch at Bridge Hotel.
Start time 10.30, turnoff to the left just after crossing the Mordialloc bridge heading South.
If it happens to be raining call me for Options.

27 February 2026. Today we spent two hours walking and wandering around the fascinating Wilson Botanic Gardens at Berwick. This old basalt rock quarry is now a wonderful garden space with two lakes containing long necked turtles and bird life.
Well worth a visit.
An enjoyable lunch followed. - Peter Alford
29 January 2026. Today we walked the O'Shannessy Aqueduct trail. The trees and ferns were gigantic.

03 May 2025 Today the walking group had a wonderful walk to Abbotsford Convent and Collingwood Children's Farm.
Perfect weather to walk along the Yarra River and wander the gardens at the Convent.
28 March 2025 Photos from todays walk from Brighton Beach to Sandringham. A lovely calm and warm day and the Bay looked magnificent.
28 February 2025 Today our walking group went to Williamstown. We took the ferry from Flinders Street to Williamstown. Had a roof top lunch, and returned by train. The weather was great!
